This five-piece jazz band took shape in Liverpool during the 1990s, and comprised (from left to right in the photo) Vicky Kewley (drums), Michelle Kidd (vocals), me (flute and sax), Hilary Burgoyne (keyboard) and Ian Stephens (double bass).
We played regularly around Merseyside until I deserted Liverpool for Bristol in 2003, and are still looking for excuses to meet up again. Happy days!
Here’s how we sound:
• Boy from Ipanema, by Antonio Carlos (Tom) Jobim (1927–1994)
• She moved through the fair, Irish traditional air with words by Sean O’Faolain
